3. Comments and reservations:

  • All who will submit an application for the "POLSKA" award – according to these rules – will be issued an award with the new graphic design. Stations that have been awarded the "POLSKA" award according to the rules valid previously (and the previous graphic design) can again apply for it according to the current rules. It does not mean, in any case, cancellation of the "POLSKA" award issued previously.
  • The operator of each Short Wave Listener station and of a station of a fully licensed amateur can be issued the "POLSKA" award only once in a particular category.
  • All the categories and classes of the "POLSKA" award are available to the Short Wave Listeners in compliance with the analogous rules as for the fully licensed amateurs, but used accordingly.
  • The "POLSKA" award is not issued in joint categories, e.g. PHONE-40M, 15M-MIXED, 80M-CW, etc.
  • "Cross-band" and "cross-mode" contacts – i.e. mixed contacts on different bands of transmission and reception, and mixed contacts on different transmission and reception modes are not accepted. Contacts made via terrestrial or satellite repeaters are not accepted either.
  • Foreign stations can be issued the "POLSKA" award for contacts made during the course of one edition of the SP-DX-Contest or the SP-DX-RTTY-Contest, on the basis of a contest log sent to the organiser of that contest, i.e. without requiring QSL cards, so without obligation of confirmation of the list of contacts made by two fully licensed amateurs. In such a case, an award of the 1st Class – gold will be issued free of charge.
  • In any case, foreign stations are obliged to send an application form for the award together with a list of contacts to the Award Manager of the Polish Amateur Radio Union (PZK Award Manager).
  • The contacts in specifications should be sorted firstly according to the letter marking a voivodship, and afterwards – within particular voivodships – according to the bands.
  • Applications for the "POLSKA" award are accepted only on applications forms provided for this award that can be downloaded here: >>>>>>>>

The rules of GCR lists apply – compliance of a list of contacts with QSL cards is to be confirmed by two fully licensed amateurs. An application together with the fee for the award (or confirmation of payment) should be sent to the PZK Award Manager – see "General rules"
